The SMC1 is a micro-computerised control, evaluation and switching device for drives with single or dual speeds. The Multicontroller has been specially designed for operation on hoisting motors. It provides the basis for sage working, long service life and documentation of the actual us of the hoist.

Continuous load measurement and cut-off by electronic device SMC1. Determination of load spectrum, operating hours, full load operating hours, switchings and further data; overheating cut-off. The data can be read with a PC (laptop). Main criteria, e.g. indication of general overhaul, are shown by LEDs.
